Escapism anyone?

My SL profile says 'I'm here to explore and generally indulge in escapism. Any like-minded avi's are welcome to join me.' I've worked in IT for 10 years and I enjoy technology-based hobbies and I love social media. (Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, and most recently MyBlogLog and shareyourSL). Second Life has become a hobby for me that allows social interaction with people from all over the world. I've made some true friends that are now RL friends. For me, "escapism" means: I'll do laundry later I want to check in on my friends or check out that new sim I've heard about. It does NOT mean that I am trying to escape something or that I'm trying to be someone I'm not. But recently, I read a profile that said "I am NOT here to escape! I don't use SL to forget about RL". I could see the point that was being made, but also when I escape into SL, it's not to forget my RL. And ever since, I've been pondering....should I change my profile wording? Am I conveying the wrong message about my role in SL? What are your impressions of SL escapism? What do you think? CeN, this might be a good poll question for ya! ;)

Update: I just watched this video, kinda gives a good definition of escapism, eh?
