It's so hard to schedule appointments in SL, since everyone has 2 calendars: a rl one and an sl one. I spent a week casually thinking that I needed a new photo book. Then I sent desperate pleas to my favorite photographers. Then made numerous attempts at coordinating schedules with photographers that I had never worked with. I'm really hard to please when it comes to my portraits in SL. I look for someone with exceptional post-processing skills. I am attracted to those portraits that make the avatar look 3D and flawless and that use lighting/flash. Finding a photographer that retouches to this extent isn't easy. Finding one *on the fly* is even harder. I got lucky. On Saturday, I walked into Stellar ZenAli Photography after finding them in search. The owner was online. He paged an offline photographer who jumped in within a moment. The photographer let me be specific with my ideas, offered me better ones, with 4 different outfits, and finished in an hour. I was left completely speechless on Sunday (yep, one day later) when I received my photo book. I bought every shot. A win/win situation, I think. I've never enjoyed a photo session so well.
Stellar ZenAli Photography has also launched a model search. They are looking for the new face to represent their photography studio. First place is $50,000 lindens.
