maiko (geisha apprentice). Flying east, my tour took me through the geisha village, country side and shopping village. A lot of thought went into the planning and design of these
sims. With streams, waterfalls, bridges, dirt paths, and brick roads all carefully laid out it was really easy for me to feel immersed in the little district of
Gion. Having read 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and the even better 'Geisha, A Life', I found myself recalling small details from the books, as I looked at the landscape. The shopping village is a mecca for all things Asian. Very much worth an hour of your time. For even more fun, go get the free kimono at

As I'm looking around, I thought: Why not put my kimono on? I recently went to a Japanese themed party, invested in the gear, here's my chance to wear it all again. :)
I'm thinking how impressive and realistic the irrigation system looks. (And wearing another kimono)
