You spend a week wandering through this beautiful sim. You walk through the lush trees, admire the wild flowers, inspecting everything as you go. Buy something here and there and you take lots of pics. Then you find out this is all a facade for what lies beneath. Under the sea is where the real magic happens. Or science fiction rather.
Don't let this pretty place fool you...

A close-up of the successful germination of radio-active daisies.

I snuck into the control room that oversees the test lab. Once the radio-active daisies become seedlings, they are planted here where they can be monitored for hardiness and vigor. The torpedos are a kind of garden statue.

This poor dog saw me through the window and begged me to rescue him. Poor thing. But they need the animals to simulate a radioactive daisy's life in a park.

I'm a little surprised that they carelessly left evidence of this highly controversial operation on the ground. But as I was telling my friend Thema that I have absolutely NO comprehension of science fiction, she reminded me that bloggers have imaginations. So radioactive daisies it is. :)

Happy day!
