I use a skybox for the following reasons: To try on skins and shapes. Change clothes. And have a place to retreat when the lag seems bad. Therefore, my skybox requirements are minimal: A low prim box with rich textures to enjoy because I reserve about 95% of my prims for ground level. Somehow, and I can't really remember, I found the Shakespearean Theatre Skybox at Sanu. At first glance, it held no interest for me, but then I began to think: At 38 prims, (which can be reduced by removing the spotlights), this was really a low prim option for some eye candy when I'm 1500 meters up. At $L495 lindens, I decided to give it a go. I'm kinda glad I did. The textures are very nice. The curtains are scripted to open, half open, and close. The stage contains a built in pose. (Sometimes I use this instead of my pose stand.) The placard which displays a handful of Shakespearean plays can also display your own pictures. (Mine currently displays Yours Truly.) The backdrop can be changed also, although I'm quite satisfied with the default. Wanna check it out? Go here and be the star of your own show.
