I'm really excited to share my experience with this new club, Le Club De Copain. It's just what the doctor ordered, in my opinion. It all began for me as I was hanging out with my good friend Nick at his home in Dans les Montagnes. (Remember the little French village filled with unique shops and residential parcels tucked away in the mountains?) Walking over to the club while it was empty, Nick and I looked around, inspected, and generally checked the place out. Owned by Jonas Lunasea and Charley Trenchcoat, it's inspired by a combination of the places at which Jonas has performed IRL. New Orleans and Speak Easy NYC meets industrial....basically his dream club. Jonas shops, Charley decorates. As you enter, be sure to click on the subscribo at the entrance for DJ dance parties and live show announcements, as well as awesome gifties from SL designers - "only good shit" as Jonas says. This is where they host parties all the time, and where Jonas headlines. He's a dancer/singer IRL, currently performing in the Rocky Horror Picture Show which runs until mid September. He's happy, he's talented, he engages everyone in the audience... listen carefully he may slip your name into his lyrics. Hands down, my favorite performer in SL.

The upstairs loft area began as their apartment, but has been converted into an art gallery.
A launch party for Emil Junge's exhibit at Le Club De Copain, and the club was absolutely PACKED. I didn't get pictures though, didn't want to push my luck with the lag....
